Cello bows

Cello bows range in weight from 78 to 82 grams.  Some cellists prefer heavier bows, some prefer lighter bows.  Balance is as important as weight.  You will find a variety of bows in a range of weights.

I have cello bows ranging in price from $300.00 to $5000.00.  I specialize in bows made of Pernambuco.   I carefully hand select each bow for its weight, balance, quality of wood, quality of workmanship, and style.  I am confident that if you are looking for a bow, you will find one you like.

Bows between $300.00 and $600.00 are generally Pernambuco with nickel silver mountings.

Bows between $600.00 and up are generally Pernambuco with silver mountings, or in some cases gold mountings.
